Debtors Beware

February 15, 2011 By admin

Debt monitor ‘Stubbs Gazette’ has recently launched a new magazine version of their regular judgment listings, showing who’s being pursued in the courts for unpaid debts.

The monthly publication includes a full list of all debts that have resulted in judgments being registered in the High Court. Debtors will be broken down by county, and each issue will also feature caricatures and short profiles of the biggest judgments.

“There’s a commercial reason for it, in that we think there will be a lot of interest and people will buy it,” said James Treacy, who runs ‘Stubbs Gazette’ publisher Business Pro.

“The other reason we’re doing it is because there are companies and individuals who have hundreds of judgments registered against them and carry on trading, racking up more debts.

“We think people running small businesses, farmers and anyone else giving out credit should be able to go out, buy this publication and find out who’s not paying their debts.”

Some 4,000 issues are available across 1,000 newsagents while Stubbs Gazette’s regular customers will also get copies.
